2020 has been a year of surprises, especially with the outbreak of Covid-19, mandatory worldwide lock-downs, polarizing elections, and trade wars. We have seen mass riots, protests, and looting at stores and homes from people affiliated with BLM, Antifa, and other groups in our nation.

One disturbing trend we have noticed is that the police men and women in our country either refused to step in or were not capable of protecting the general public from these looters. Even though they were only a few feet away from people burning cars, looting stores, and destroying monuments, the police would only stand there and watch as the neighborhoods turned into a war-zone.

Understandably, people have been seeking shelter and protection from these criminals. It is no surprise that gun sales and ammo sales rose 500%, with millions of women becoming first-time gun owners in 2020. If you walked into any gun store this year, it is extremely common to see all the shelves empty, stock depleted, and selections slim.

I myself and a few friends have tried to purchase some new AR-15's from local gun stores and almost every single one had sold out. Same with bulk ammo. In all the years I had owned a gun, I have never seen the demand so high before.

I had contacted at least 20 different gun stores and websites and all of them had the same problem. They couldn't order ammo and firearms fast enough to meet the demand.

Instead of getting mad or upset like many others, I am actually happy about this. The general public finally realizes that legally purchasing and owning a gun can help protect their businesses, homes, and families in the face of crisis. They finally realize how important it is to be able to have 2nd amendment rights in this country.

Millions of new gun-owners are now going to attend safety classes, go to the shooting ranges, purchase accessories for their firearms, which all help to stimulate the economy.

It is an exciting time for everyone in the gun business and I hope that everyone will use this huge influx of interest and demand to raise awareness and fight for our 2nd amendment rights in our country.
